Christmas 2013

My family comes over the day before Christmas and we eat, watch tv and of course I play. We all sat at the kitchen table to eat dinner and were watching ELF, which I didn't really like but all the adults seem to laugh a lot while watching it. 

After dinner we all went downstairs for dessert. When Brian comes over he never gets to sit with the grown ups because I ask him to play the minute he walks in the door. He is a lot of fun and we can both draw dinosaurs really good (well he can draw way better than me but I'll be that good one day!) I always ask if my cousin Brian is coming over whenever Nino comes but Mommy says he works alot so its hard for him. My cousin Adrienne came over too and she even played blocks with me! 

When we were all downstairs we heard the dogs barking upstairs so Papa went up to see what was wrong and our other cousins came over. I know Helena from the Halloween and Christmas parties that I've went to. She is always a lot of fun too.

Christmas morning I woke up and there were SOOO many presents under the tree! My stockings were even filled to the top, Santa had came!! I got all of my Dragons, blankets, movies, clothes, lite brite, easel, games, candy, computer, walkie talkies, camera, games for my leappad and puzzles. I love puzzles! Santa brought gifts for everyone else too. I was so tired after opening ALL of those presents and helping everyone else open theirs..that is exhausting work. 

These are ALL of my presents!! I think I had a great Christmas, I can't wait for Christmas again next year!

Shooting hoops with Tio

Since I started playing basketball I found out I really like to shoot the ball, I don't care to much to dribble the ball but that's why Tio is working with me. This is my first DUNK! I had so much fun playing with Tio, mommy and Bri and then Papa came and brought my hoop. We all shot around, even though my small hoop was there I still liked to shoot on the big one. 

My first Trip to the Shedd Aquarium!

Today Nana and Mommy got me dressed and said that we were going to the store...but they actually surprised me and said we were at the Shedd Aquarium! I was soo excited I couldn't wait to see all the fishies! It was really cold so mommy put a blanket around me since we had to walk down the street to the aquarium. The aquarium was really cool and there were so many fish. Of course after seeing all the fish I kept asking to see a whale, mommy and nana thought that was funny.

The new addition to Tio and Bri's family- Sweet Martha!

So Tio and Bri just got a new dog. Mommy says that they rescued her from a really bad place and that she is very sick. She is 9 years old..I guess that is old in dog years because she doesn't look or act that old. I met her and mommy said I had to be calm (which is very hard for me to do, I'm always running and jumping around) and move slowly around her because she is sick. She was really sweet and very friendly to me, even though I was a little loud at some times. We gave her a hug because that would make her feel better, when I'm sick and mommy or nana give me a hug I feel better so I know that helped her. She wasn't as big as PopKorn so I wasn't as nervous with her. I really do love dogs, but when the dog is at eye level with me, it makes me a little nervous.

Martha held onto this pillow almost the whole time, Mommy says that her teeth aren't that good so I think holding onto that pillow makes her teeth feel better. 

I think she really liked me! She is the perfect size for me, not too small and not too big! When we were leaving I still felt bad because I wanted her to be all better. 

See in this picture you can see how much bigger PopKorn is compared to Martha...and of course Lucky in the middle. Mommy and Tio say that Lucky and PopKorn are Martha's brothers. I told mom that they didn't match, I think that they should look alike but mommy says that brothers and sisters can look very different from each other and be all different colors and sizes. I wish I had my own doggy but for now I use Chico, He isn't very cuddly or playful but he does lay next to me and climb in my bed sometimes so I guess that's ok for now. 

Happy Halloween!!!

Tonight mommy and me went with Tio and Bri trick or treating. I got to be with Bri's nieces; Erica and Bell. 

I was a little nervous walking up to people's houses and saying trick or treat, so tio went with me. After a couple of houses I told mommy I wanted to go all by myself. So mommy helped me up the stairs a little and I said trick or treat all by myself! I felt like such a big boy, I came running back to them yelling "I did it all by myself Tio and Bri!" 

Bell dressed up like Spiderman. Her costume was so cool. I had a blast getting all that candy, seeing everyone dressed up in costumes, and all the cool decorations at each house. 

Basketball Time!

I had my first Basketball practice today!! I was soo excited to meet my coach and teammates. 

My coach was teaching us how to bounce pass and dribble the ball. I have never dribbled a basketball so it was really hard for me. I had fun and liked bounce passing and shooting the ball but not dribbling. Mommy said that I'll have to practice dribbling more. 

I had a fun practice and can't wait for my next practice and my first game! 

My first trick or treat!

I had a busy busy day, mommy and me went to the pitbull walk earlier and then Mommy asked me if I wanted to go trick or treating so I said "YES!!" I was a T-Rex! It was really cold out so I had my Colts hat on under my t-rex head. We walked around and when it was my turn to get candy I said, "RROOAARR Trick or Treat" everyone liked my costume. They said I looked really cool. 

I got a bunch of candy and a glow stick thing, popcorn and stickers. I wanted mommy to take my picture with  my head down so I could see if I looked like a real T-rex.....and I did! Mommy said that I will get to go trick or treating again, in a few days. I can't wait to dress up and get more candy again!!

Pitbull walk!

Today mommy and me went to a pitbull walk. We met Tio, Bri, PopKorn and Lucky at the park and all the dogs were in Halloween costumes! Popkorn and Lucky were matching pumpkins. I got to sit in my wagon and I wanted Lucky to sit in it with me but he wanted to walk instead. It was really cold so I was all bundled up and Bri gave me a blanket to cover up with. 

They even had a costume contest, the other dogs were in all different kinds of costumes, a skunk, ballerina, motorcycle dog, pig, cow, police dog, and pumpkins. 

I was hoping that Popkorn and Lucky would win but the motorcycle, police and prima ballerina ones won. 

Remember I said I like to take pictures, well I grabbed mommy's camera and decided to take a picture of everyone. I think I did a pretty good job! 

I had a great time with mommy, Tio and Bri. I was cold and tired when we left so I was glad to eat my snack and relax on the way home. 

Tio's BIRTHDAY!!!!

Today Tio, Bri and Nino came over for Tio's Birthday. I helped tio open his presents and cards. 

Then of course I wanted to help him with his cake. So I picked out the colors of the candles and put them in the cake. I couldn't wait to eat some of the cake, but I'm still a very picky eater so I didn't eat the cake, just the icing. Even though it was a chocolate chip cookie cake I still didn't eat it. 

Since Mommy has always taken pictures with me, I started taking pictures of everything around me, but most of all I like to take pictures of myself. I use mommy's phone and camera all the time, hopefully I can get my own camera someday.

Did I mention I really really like the icing?! I wanted to sit next to my Tia Bri. The icing was so yummy it even turned my mouth the blue.

Halloween Parrttyyy!

We are going to a Halloween Party today, I'm really excited to wear my T-Rex costume! I can ROOAAR Very good and can stomp around like a Big T-Rex. 

We got to color and do a Halloween craft, I made a fan.

I got to see some of my cousins that I haven't seen in a long time, I had a lot of fun with them.

My new favorite toy was the hula hoop that they had there, I could spin it around me, spin it on the floor and roll it across the room. Very cool toy!

Buddy Walk with my friends!

Every year mommy and me go walk at a park where there are a lot of people there. I got my face painted, ate some popcorn and cotton candy, and played with my friends- Rylee, Michael, Nathan and Abbie. We all rode together in Mommy's friend's van...and there was a DVD player in it so we watched Toy Story! Mommy told me that the walk was for people with Downs Syndrome, I'm not sure what that means but mommy said that people with downs syndrome may look and act a little different than me.

Of course I got a dinosaur painted on my face! Then we went outside and there was a huge bouncy house, Mommy didn't think I would go in it but I took my shoes off and jumped right in! I stayed in it until they were closing it, then I was really upset that I had to get out. Since I was upset mommy said I could play a bozo game they had there and I won a twizzler. 

These are my friends!! Mommy says we will do the walk again next year. I can't wait, it is always so much fun.

Soccer TIME!!

Today was my first day of Soccer practice!! I got to wear shin guards and real soccer shoes! At first I didn't want to put on the shin guards but I got used to them. And mommy said that if I accidentally got kicked there, it wouldn't hurt so I made sure I had them on right.

My coach is so nice and makes sure that we have a lot of fun on the field! I like being on a team, I've made a few new friends. I like running and kicking the ball but I'm a little nervous about running and kicking near my teammates. I'm so excited to get my own "uniform" and play in our first game next week!

My First Pony ride

Mommy and I went to a festival in Hobart where they had Pony rides. I asked mommy if I could ride a pony, she was a little surprised because I didn't want to last year. I picked which horse I wanted to ride and got on. It was so much fun and it was relaxing. When it was time to get off of course I didn't want to but mom said maybe I could ride them again before we leave so I said ok and finally got down. 

Here is my second ride. I love riding on the "little horsies" I had so much fun today!

Wedding time

Mommy and me went to her friend Jody's wedding. It was outside and it was hot, so we stayed in the shade until it was about to start. After the wedding I wanted a snack so I ate my puffcorn on the way to the reception.

This is my new buddy Gabe, I shared my leappad with him and gave him a piece of my candy too. He is my age, I'm 23 days older than him, haha. I had fun at the party, playing with the spoons, and the tea lights they had on the tables.

Mommy was trying to take a nice picture of us but I kept closing my eyes. Mommy was getting upset because we hadn't taken a good picture together. I didn't want to go on the dance floor either. I dance all the time with mom at home but I didn't want to get near the dance floor at all. I got to meet alot of people that mommy went to school with! They were all really nice to me. We left really late and we were both really tired but I stayed awake on the way home so Mommy could give me a bath. I feel so much better once I have a bath and are in my pjs and have lotion on. 

Party for BRI!!

We went to pizza hut for a surprise party for Bri. I picked out 2 balloons and a candle for her. My Tio threw the party because Bri just finished school. Mommy said she got her Bachelor's degree whatever that is I guess its a big deal. I helped Bri open her presents and cards.

I was trying to get down ans a little cranky because I didn't have a nap today and the minute Mommy said "Say Cheese" I stopped, smiled and said cheese at the camera, everyone laughed. Then we got to eat cake, it was very good!

FIRE, POLICE, AMBULANCE

I Got to sit in a real fire truck today! It was soo cool! It was really big and there were so many buttons in it. I got to talk to real policemen, firemen and paramedics,I even got to meet some of the police dogs! They were doing fingerprinting there and mommy really wanted me to do it but I was a little scared, I thought it would hurt. After a little while and after a nice policeman talked to me, I did it..and you know what it didn't hurt!

I got a few coloring books and some stickers from all of the police and firemen. Mommy got a paper with all of my fingerprints on it, so she was happy

FISHING..OH YEA OH YEA

Mommy bought me a spiderman fishing pole and she finally got her fishing license so we were able to go. Papa went with us because Mommy wouldn't be able to touch the fish or worms. It was such a nice day outside, by the water it was really windy but it felt good. I had my new Bass Pro hat on and wore my sunglasses because it was really sunny and bright out. Within a few minutes of my line being out I caught my very first fish! It was so cool!! I went to grab it right away but Papa told me no because I would hurt myself on the hook. Once he got the fish off the hook I threw him back in the water. Mommy was really surprised that I just grabbed the fish and threw him in the water.

I had soo much fun fishing. But after two hours I was ready to go since it was around my nap time and I was hungry. I can't wait to go back again!

I really liked touching the fish, Papa dropped one on the ground and it flopped and flopped around, it was funny. I wanted the fishy to stay flopping around but mommy said that the fishy can't breath out of water so I threw him back into the water.
